Understand the quotation

First agree the work.
Then agree the price.

A useful website quotation explains what is included, what you need to provide and which ongoing services are separate.

01

The pages and content

The number of pages matters, but so does how much planning, writing, photography and content organisation each needs.

Outline my pages ↗

02

The features and connections

Forms, payments, booking rules and connections to other systems need different levels of work. Explain the task you want to make easier.

Describe my features ↗

03

The work after launch

Ask about hosting, domain renewals, email, licences, maintenance and content changes. Clarify what recurs and what is quoted separately.

Discuss ongoing care ↗

A realistic starting point

Your budget helps
set the priorities.

A budget is useful context. It helps identify which parts matter most, what can be included at launch and whether other ideas should be discussed for later.

The budget choices in the planner are your working ranges. They are not advertised package prices or an automatic estimate. Nexar reviews your requirements before providing a quotation.

Look for a clear quotation

  • Pages, content and features included
  • What you need to supply and approve
  • Any separately priced services or licences
  • Payment stages and relevant terms
  • Ongoing costs and included support
  • How changes to the agreed scope are handled

Common questions

Useful things
to clarify.

Can I get a price before writing all the content?

You can start with notes and a rough page list. Explain which content you have and where you need help so that preparation work can be considered in the quotation.

Is a redesign always a full rebuild?

No. Share the current website and explain what is not working. A review can help decide whether targeted changes or a replacement is the more useful approach.

Does submitting a brief commit me to a project?

No. The brief is a starting point for discussion. The work, price and terms need to be agreed separately.

What if I do not know my budget yet?

Select “Not sure — please advise”. Focus on the problem you need the website to solve and the things it must do.

You can be unsure about the details. The planner helps you work through them.
